Where to start - I know many of you already subscribe to my other newsletter. Thank you!
I had planned to transfer that newsletter across to this forum, but in recent weeks something was clarified for me. It took more than a year to realize that my writing, and what I do, occupies two very different creative spaces.
Reviews, news and my social media activity sits in the Life on the Wedge and Instagram sphere - hot takes, my series, my soon to launch podcast and more.
My actual writing, which has taken longer to excavate and rediscover, has found a space here in Substack.
So, for more in depth, more considered, more….controversial thoughts, this is the place. Food, food culture, travel…life in general.
This won’t be as regular as my weekly Life on the Wedge newsletter, which has turned into a force of nature. Nor will it replace my true love, the thing that started it all, the blog.
Rather, when there is an issue I want to explore or delve into, like my recent trip to culinary Disneyland, Copenhagen (coming soon) or whether Qatar’s food scene is Michelin ready.
